Actor Oh Dal-soo has been confirmed to join the cast of Netflix’s original “Squid Game 2.”

An official from Oh’s agency, C-JeS Studios, told the Hankook Ilbo, “Oh Dal-soo will appear in ‘Squid Game 2,’ although he did not reveal the role or filming schedule.”

Oh Dal-soo withdrew from the public eye in 2018 following #MeToo allegations. At the time, two women accused him of sexual harassment in the 1990s and early 2000s through various media outlets including “Newsroom.”

Oh initially denied the allegations, but issued an apology later. saying, “What happened is all my fault. I’m responsible.” The following year, police closed the case against the actor, clearing him of any wrongdoing.

He returned to work in 2021 with the film “The Blacklist,” followed by “Neighbors,” “I Want to Know Your Parents” and more.

“Squid Game” season 2 begins with Ki-hoon (Lee Jung-jae) returning to the United States with a purpose of his own.
