Riverdale Season 4 will see two of the show’s main characters making a surprising career decision as they continue on in their senior year.
The CW has released the official plot synopsis of Season 4’s fifth episode, titled “Chapter Sixty-Two: Witness for the Prosecution,” which sees Veronica Lodge torn between her parents’ respective criminal trials, while Jughead Jones uncovers another shocking family secret. Meanwhile, Kevin and Betty join the Junior FBI Training Program.

THE TRIALS OF HIRAM AND HERMOINE — Caught between Hiram (Mark Consuelos) and Hermoine’s (Marisol Nichols) double trial, Veronica (Camila Mendes) grapples with what the future holds for her family. Archie (KJ Apa) finds himself the unexpected target of the town’s local businesses. Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Kevin (Casey Cott) join the Junior FBI Training Program, and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) learns some surprising information about his family history. Season 4 has dealt with the fallout of Hermoine and Hiram’s murderous bids for power in the eponymous upstate New York town. As Veronica and her mother circle around a potential reconciliation, star Marisol Nichols teased a new romance for Hermoine as her daughter enters her senior year of high school.
