Amazon’s Prime Video service has shared the first look at Riverdale star Camila Mendes’ upcoming movies in a 2024 trailer.
The sizzle reel shows off a lot of the content coming to the streaming service next year, from returning favourites like The Boys to the new version of Mr and Mrs Smith, and projects starring everyone from Nicole Kidman to Snoop Dogg.
As far as Veronica Lodge actress Mendes is concerned, she is starring in two films: Upgraded and Música.
Upgraded features Mendes as an art intern who is invited on a last-minute business trip to London, and eventually meets a handsome stranger on the plane. Marisa Tomei, Archie Renaux, Anthony Head and Saoirse-Monica Jackson also stars, while Mendes serves as executive producer.
Música, meanwhile, is a romantic comedy that focuses on a man “plagued by the music in his head” who tries to come to terms with an uncertain future, while balancing his family and Brazilian heritage and love in New Jersey. Curb Your Enthusiasm’s JB Smoove stars.

“People see clips taken out of context and are like: ‘What? I thought this was about teenagers.’ And we thought so as well — in season 1…
“It is ‘What the f**k?’. That’s the whole point. When we’re doing our table reads and something ridiculous happens, [showrunner] Roberto [Aguirre-Sacasa] is laughing because he understands the absurdity and the campiness.”
