The loyal fanbase of Starz’s hit series Outlander may be going through their longest Droughtlander yet with a COVID-19 delayed sixth season, but the network offered some relief with the promise of a seventh season.

Yes, the time-traversing romantic drama will continue for years to come, but the question of which stars are sticking around remains a bigger question. Over the seasons, viewers have learned that the fate of some characters isn’t so certain. Thankfully, some cast members have already confirmed their involvement in the 12-episode season.

Speculating about additional stars is a bit of a reach this early in the game considering Season 6 hasn’t even aired, but we’re offering a peek into which cast members are definitely returning to the world first introduced in Diana Gabaldon’s bestselling books.

Outlander, Season 7, TBA, Starz

Caitriona Balfe as Claire Fraser

Outlander wouldn’t be Outlander without its resident doc and main protagonist, Claire Fraser. Caitriona Balfe is confirmed to return for Season 7.

Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser

Everyone’s favorite Highlander Jamie Fraser, known fondly by fans as “the king of men,” is one half of the show’s beating heart. Thankfully, Sam Heughan is already officially billed to reprise his role for the seventh chapter.

Sophie Skelton as Brianna MacKenzie

Claire and Jamie’s strong-willed daughter has played an integral role in the series since Season 2. This truth makes it unsurprising that Sophie Skelton is among one of Season 7’s confirmed cast members.

Richard Rankin as Roger Mackenzie

When it comes to Richard Rankin‘s Roger, he’s part of a package deal with Brianna, so it only makes sense that he’d play a role in the upcoming chapter. Thankfully, Rankin is one of Season 7’s confirmed stars.
