In no world would anyone consider Jensen Ackles as an ‘ugly’ actor. One social media post has enraged fans of multiple actors, including the Supernatural actor, after it categorized them as “ugly men who are considered attractive”. However, it is not just fans who came to Ackles’ defense. Misha Collins, who starred alongside him in the CW series, replied to the post with a message to the actor.

Misha Collins played the role of the angel Castiel in the series. He first appeared as a guest star in the Season 4 episode Lazarus Rising and later became a regular on the series. Collins even directed one of the episodes in Season 9 of the series, titled Mother’s Little Helper.

Supernatural Actor Defends Jensen Ackles After A Social Media Insult
Supernatural fans will not take the insult to Jensen Ackles lightly in one social media post. Ackles has won over fans with his performance as Dean Winchester in the series and as the voice of Batman in DC Animated Movie Universe. He is currently starring as the villain Ben/Soldier Boy in Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys.

Ackles’ photo appeared alongside eight other prominent Hollywood actors on a post that insulted these talented men. The X post from the account @iamnotpopbase had the title “Ugly men that are only considered attractive because they are White”. Several fans of the actors called out the problematic post, despite the account claiming it to be a “correct take”.

The other actors on the list included Barry Keoghan, Jeremy Allen White, Hugh Jackman, Noah Centineo, Jacob Elordi, Ryan Reynolds, Timothée Chalamet, and Drake. While fans flocked in support of the actors, one co-star of Ackles jumped in to support him.

American actor Misha Collins appeared in several episodes of 24, NCIS, and ER but his most notable role was as Castiel in Supernatural. Collins is pretty active on the platform and came across the problematic post. He replied to the post addressing Ackles and shared that the Days of Our Lives alum shouldn’t listen to such posts. He further added, “Beauty is on the inside.”

Collins was supposed to be on Supernatural only for a couple of episodes but the positive feedback from fans prompted the makers to promote him as a series regular. Interestingly, Collins, along with Ackles and Jared Padalecki, are part of the SPNFamily Crisis Support network (via Forbes). The organization provides resources to those suffering from cyberbullying among other things.
