Almost a year after the end of La Casa de Papel, these two emblematic actors of the Netflix series made a reunion on Instagram, this Friday, September 30.
La Casa de Papel has marked the history of Netflix. The platform’s first international success in a language other than English, the Spanish series, centered around the robbery of the National Currency Factory in Madrid, bowed out almost a year ago, after five seasons. The popularity is such that several emblems of the series, like the red jumpsuits and Dali masks worn by the characters, have been completely adopted in popular culture. The actors, themselves, have acquired worldwide fame.
This Friday morning, Luka Peros shared two photos of his reunion with Itziar Ituño on Instagram. He embodied Marseille in parts 3 and 4 of the series. Unlike the other protagonists, he didn’t want to rob the bank. He was responsible for ensuring the untraceability of telephone calls between the Professor and the police. In the photos shared by the actor, the two seem delighted to meet in Biscay (northern Spain), the place of residence of the actress. “The best hostess in the world. I love you, sister”, he wrote tenderly in the caption. Their friends from La Casa de Papel and Internet users were obviously moved by his images, like Pedro Alonso alias Berlin.
