Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart has shared her sweet dream about Luke Perry.
Perry – who played Fred Andrews on the CW drama – passed away in March 2019, following a stroke. He was 52 years old.
And taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Reinhart told her followers how she recently had a dream about the late star.
“I had a dream last night that I saw Luke… and I hugged him so hard and cried into his shoulder, telling him how much we all miss him,” she said. “Looking back on it this morning, I think his spirit was visiting me in my sleep, letting me know he’s smiling brightly on the other side.”

Following his passing, Riverdale paid tribute to Perry in the season four premiere – which aired in October 2019.
In the episode, Fred was killed in a hit-and-run after he stopped on the side of the road to help another driver.
Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa previously told the New York Post how they wanted to honour both Luke and his character, Fred Andrews, with the heartbreaking tribute episode.
“That suggested we should take a more grounded, character-based episode that allowed us to track the emotions,” he continued. “So it does still feel like Riverdale. There’s a little bit of gothic foolishness with Cheryl [Madelaine Petsch] at the beginning, a bit of a crime investigation story and a weird dream sequence. [The episode] is in the vocabulary of the show, but we definitely wanted it to feel different.”
