It’s no secret that Sam Heughan is a fitness fanatic who created the My Peak Challenge movement, which today has thousands of members who follow a fitness program and in doing so raise money for charities.
So, it’s no surprise to see Sam headed up a mountain in Austria to do some skiing or snowboarding. Possibly snowboarding because he’s wearing a jacket by Burton, a company that specializes in products aimed at snowboarders, including the boards themselves, bindings, boots, outerwear and accessories.

And Sam does looking dashing, even wearing a protective helmet. As one fan writes, “How does he still manage to look so gorgeous in a helmet? ”
And another says, “And by the time Sam left, all the snow had melted ”
While a third writes, “Just look at that scenery though . Never been skiing, personally I’d probably fall on my bum/face . But look’s lovely!. I hope you made some snow angels lol! A native Scot, Sam doesn’t really have to leave home to hit the slopes. Scotland’s five ski resorts offer some of the best outdoor skiing and snowboarding in the U.K. but the Outlander star probably wanted a break as he will be spending a lot of time in Scotland shortly when he returns to play Jamie Fraser for the last time when filming begins on the eighth and final season of Outlander.
