Outlander star Sam Heughan shares a pulses racing as he posed on a golf course in St Andrew’s.
As a sense of ‘normality’ resumed in Scotland yesterday with hospitality and non-essential shops reopening their doors, Sam was keen to show his enthusiasm for some ‘freedom’.
The TV hunk posed with a cap and body warmer on the famous Swilkan Bridge in St Andrew’s with a stunning skyline in the back and captioned the photo: “Lockdown is over!!! Looking for the nearest bar/restaurant/human being…”
And over 4000 people commented on his post – admiring the view.
One wrote: “I’d love to be the nearest human being to you.”
Another added: “Uhhh hottest man on earth?”
One said: “You look very good.”

Last week, Sam revealed how obsessed fans have sent him weird gifts, with a crocheted modesty sock among the strangest ones.
The actor, who plays Highland warrior Jamie Fraser during the Jacobite rising, said he and co-star Caitriona Balfe have received a wide but bizarre array of items.
The presents include Easter eggs, avocados, peanut butter and even blankets adorned with his face.
Heughan, 40, from Balmaclellan, Dumfriesshire, said: “I received lots of Easter eggs. My fan are amazing, they are so supportive.
“They always send us presents, myself and my co-star.
“A whole variety of things as well. Whenever we mention we like things, they will send us stuff.
“So I’ve had some very weird and random things sent to me.
“I’ve had a crate of avocados sent to me. I’ve had all sorts of peanut butter, I’ve had blankets that have got my face on it that have been knitted by people.”
