Just a few weeks after Courteney Cox gave us the Friends/Big Bang Theory crossover we never knew we needed, a star of Big Bang has returned the favour with her own Instagram snap.
Giving her 5.7 million followers a taste of what a Friends/Big Bang crossover might look like, Penny actress Kaley Cuoco recreated the NBC sitcom’s opening sequence.
The star posted a photo to Instagram of her and Big Bang producer Suzanne McCormack holding umbrellas on the iconic orange sofa, alongside the caption: “With my partner in production crime @suemack8 takin it all in @hbo maxis and duh we found the Friends couch #hbomax coming April 2020.”
In case you were wondering, HBO Max is the upcoming streaming service from the US network. And while a Big Bang Theory/Friends crossover is not on the cards, the two long-running sitcoms are both headed to the WarnerMedia service when it launches next year.
But before you go cancelling your Netflix subscriptions, let it be known that this shouldn’t affect the streaming platform over in Blighty.
The Big Bang Theory‘s final season aired on CBS and CBS All Access in the US. You can pre-order the complete boxset now on DVD and Blu-ray.
Friends airs daily on Comedy Central in the UK and is also streaming on Netflix.
