Riverdale star Madelaine Petsch in trailer for Christmas movie

Riverdale star Madelaine Petsch and Aladdin actor Mena Massoud’s new Christmas movie Hotel for the Holidays has got a brand new trailer to get you in the mood.

The film features Petsch as Georgia, an inexplicably young manager of a high-end, if slightly old and prone to power cuts, hotel.

Over the festive season, she welcomes a whole host of colourful characters, from an international pop star to a former European Prince.

The young Prince (played by Max Lloyd-Jones) turns her head, but Luke, the hotel chef (Massoud), also has a crush on her that’s incredibly obvious to everyone except Georgia. How will she cope with having two attractive men chasing after her?

The film also stars My Big Fat Greek Wedding’s Jayne Eastbrook, American Gods’ Kayleigh Shikanai, Jami Belushi and Neil Crone.

Hotel for the Holidays won’t be released until December, but if you’re one of those people who thinks Christmas begins in November, Netflix have got you sorted. Lindsay Lohan’s Falling for Christmas is out now, and we at Digital Spy gave a strong review.

“Falling for Christmas has [heart], and a lot of this is down to the sincerity with which Lohan approaches her character — which has hints of Lohan’s true self — and the ways in which she seeks to make her own way in the world,” our review reads. “If this is the start of the Lohanissance, we can’t wait to see where it goes next.”

Hotel for the Holidays will be released on Freevee, a channel on Prime Video, on December 2. Riverdale airs on The CW in the US, and on Netflix in the UK.
