Stranger Things has been pretty out there so far, but we’ve apparently seen nothing yet.
Season 4 of the Netflix science-fiction hit has been three years in the making, but now it is almost upon us, and according to star Sadie Sink, it’s going to blow our minds.
Speaking to People, the Max Mayfield actress said: “It’s the most bizarre season we’ve ever had. Just the scale of it is out of this world.
“We get to explore a lot of different themes and different sides of the characters that everyone knows and loves, so I’m looking forward to it.”
The actress also called the new villain “really scary”, but said she couldn’t talk about the scene in the season 4 trailer in which Max levitates at Billy Hargrove’s grave, except to call it “a wild episode”.
With season 4 all filmed, there’s only one season left for the cast to film, but Sadie doesn’t want it to end.
“I would go on forever if they wanted to,” she said. “We’ve built a family at this point and it’s a really special and unique bond. I’m going to miss everyone.”
Speaking about the final season, the show’s creators the Duffer brothers stated that a lot of events are up in the air, but they’ve got one aspect of it nailed down.
“Once we actually really sit down and write down that final season anything could change,” Ross said, before Matt added: “But I doubt the ending ending is going to change. It’s conceivable that it changes but I think it’s unlikely because it’s one of those endings that just feels, and always felt, right.”
Stranger Things season 4 will premiere in two parts, on May 27 and July 1 – streaming on Netflix.
