Stranger Things season 4 spoilers follow.
Stranger Things season 4 has shared new pictures of Volume 2, giving us a look at the upcoming episodes.
Just like the first part, the continuation of the season (which drops Netflix on July 1) will see the group split between different locations – and continents – at least in the beginning.
One of the pictures shows the gang at Hawkins – Steve (Joe Keery), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Max (Sadie Sink), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), newcomer Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn), Erica (Priah Ferguson) and Robin (Maya Hawke) – poring over a book.
We can see Nancy is in the scene with the rest of the group, which means she is somehow saved from the Upside Down and Vecna, which is where we last saw her at the end of Part 1.
Another picture shows Hopper (David Harbour) and Joyce (Winona Ryder) together with Murray and Dmitri, the Russian guard who helped Hopper escape the Russian prison.
We also see Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) with Dr Brenner (Matthew Modine) aka Papa, and another picture shows the California crew of Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) and newcomer Argyle (Eduardo Franco) in the pizza van.
There is also a shot of Steve, Robin and Eddie in a trailer and Max and Lucas inside a broken home, looking like they’re having a heart-to-heart in the pale blue light.
The show also released a teaser during Netflix’s Geeked Week, which sees Eleven face off with the evil Vecna.
The 30-second video teased the inevitable end battle between the Upside Down’s Vecna and Eleven, beginning with clips of the bloody past-Eleven and Dr Brenner following 001’s banishment to the Upside Down and ending with Vecna extending his hand in a similar fashion to his younger prototype, presumably during a stand-off with her.
Will the gang save the day? Only one way to find out.
Stranger Things season 4 part 2 premieres on July 1, streaming on Netflix.
