Actor Jensen Ackles shares his anger and frustration about the brutal murder of George Floyd.

The ‘Supernatural’ star spoke out over George Floyd’s death, the murder charges against the police officer who kneeled on Floyd’s neck during his arrest and the three other officers who have yet to be arrested for their involvement.

Here’s what he said – “I couldn’t just sit back shaking my head in disbelief and anger at the injustice that has and continues to occur to people of color in this country. We need to do more than create hashtags and send thoughts and prayers. We must all look for ways to support our communities of color and stand with those actively creating change. So today at 3 PM PT/6 PM ET, @misha, @danneelackles512 and I will be joining live to listen to a conversation about this painful crossroads moment and the possibilities it presents. Our panelists are 4 powerful activists of color: @realdaryldavis, @rev_deborah_johnson, @baratunde & @brionajenkins #justiceforgeorgefloyd #blacklivesmatter”

On Friday afternoon, Derek Chauvin was charged with 3rd-degree murder and manslaughter over Floyd’s death. The former Minneapolis police officer was taken into custody that morning, however the three other officers involved in Floyd’s murder, have only been fired from the police department and have yet to face any charges.

On May 25, footage obtained by bystanders showed Chauvin pinning Floyd to the ground and kneeling on his neck as Floyd pleaded, “I can’t breathe.” He died moments later.

While many stars have spoken out —some have also taken to the streets to protest.
