As Kaley Cuoco prepares for motherhood, she can count on the support of her friends, including Jim Parsons.
While attending the New York premiere of his new movie Spoiler Alert in late November, The Big Bang Theory actor shared his thoughts on his former co-star expecting her first child with boyfriend Tom Pelphrey. As Jim told Entertainment Tonight, he has all the confidence in Kaley acing her next role in life.
“She’s gonna be incredible,” he spilled to the outlet about The Flight Attendant actress. “She’s a comforting presence, and it was a pleasure to work with her day in and day out … She’s a very warm person, and I think that child is lucky to have her for a mother.”

Despite the fact that The Big Bang Theory ended after 12 seasons in May 2019, the former CBS cast members continue to keep up with each other. What’s more, Kaley and Jim are open about always cheering each other on, especially as they experience major moments in their personal and professional lives.
In March 2021, Kaley expressed her appreciation for the effort Jim has put into their friendship, to the point of sending a personal message when she found out she was nominated for her first Golden Globe.
“Jim had sent me a text the morning of the Globes because he saw a video I posted,” she told Metro about the moment. “He was like, ‘I just saw your video.’ His message was very cute. He was very excited.”
In regards to how The Wedding Ringer star feels about her impending motherhood, she hasn’t explicitly said anything other than her official pregnancy announcement on Instagram. That said, throughout the years she’s talked about kids being a big part of her future.
Back in June 2014, she told E! News about how much she was “born to be a wife [and] born to be a mom.” She also spoke on the subject to Entertainment Tonight in 2018. “I’m not quite there yet but I know that I will be ’cause I love kids. But I’m a worker bee right now,” she revealed to the outlet about starting a family.
Needless to say, we can’t wait to see what Jim’s reaction will be when the time comes for Kaley’s birth announcement!
