The Boys season 4 filming is well underway, with showrunner and director Erik Kripke keeping fans invested with a new Twitter teaser.
Uploaded yesterday (March 7), he shared a photo of the Prime Video superhero show’s canned grub known as Farm Foods’ Potted Meat, made by the sinister Vought.
“Shot on set, the Season 4 finale,” Kripke’s caption read. “Everything a growing Supe needs. #TheBoys #TheBoysTV @TheBoysTV @PrimeVideo @SPTV.”

As the world ponders what fresh hell resides inside that mysterious tin, Homelander himself Antony Starr sarcastically replied in the comment section: “Yummers”.
“Ok so, possible cannibalism in s4 then? Cool, can’t wait!” theorised one fan.
Two more went on to write: “Is that how they got rid of [Black] Noir?” and “Guessing that’s gonna be people meat in there or something??”
Meanwhile, it’s been confirmed that Black Noir’s Nathan Mitchell is taking on a completely new role in the fourth season of The Boys.
Kripke previously explained of the pair’s initial conversations: “I think I literally said something like, ‘OK, so I’m gonna say something and your stomach’s gonna drop, but then I’m gonna follow it up with something and you’re gonna see that it’s okay’.
“It’s definitely not the last we’ve seen of Black Noir as a hero. It’s just that the guy who was inside [the suit] in season 3, he’s gone.
“But we have Nathan playing a really interesting and hilarious character who wears the suit next season. We’ll explore it as the season goes on, but Nathan plays a whole new character.”
The Boys seasons 1-3 are streaming on Prime Video. Season 4 is in production.
