The Boys season 4 has added Twilight’s Valorie Curry and Orange is the New Black’s Susan Heyward to the cast.
Welcoming Curry and Heyward to the series, Prime Video unveiled two first look photographs of the pair in costume as their new characters.
Taking to Twitter, The Boys released their official character photos along with a
brief caption that read: “Meet Sage. She’s already a thousand steps ahead of you. And let’s just say Firecracker has a short fuse.”
Curry, who is best known for portraying Charlotte in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, is set to play new supe Firecracker.
Meanwhile, Heyward, who played Tamika Ward in Netflix’s Orange is the New Black, is set to play another supe called Sister Sage.
While character details are being kept under wraps, the newly released official photos and brief descriptions offer some insight into the types of supe to expect.
According to the tweet, Sister Sage is “a thousand steps ahead of you” which seems to tease that the new supe may be clairvoyant and has the ability to see into the future.
Sister Sage’s costume is a nod to Louis Vuitton’s monogram pattern but the golden eye emblem on her chest may further suggest she can see beyond ordinary sight.
Firecracker’s costume, on the other hand, hints at a strong affinity to firearms with a gun symbol on her belt and a patriotic red, white and blue colour theme.
Curry and Heyward will be joining fellow newcomer to the series The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan who was finally confirmed back in August after a lot of speculation.
Further details about Morgan’s character are being kept under wraps.
The Boys seasons 1-3 are streaming on Prime Video. Season 4 is in production.
