The Walking Dead stopped filming Season 10 earlier this year due to the coronavirus.

ATLANTA, GA — The Walking Dead is supposed to begin filming in late August, according to reports. The show was forced to stop production for season 10 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The finale episode will air this fall, according to Digital Spy. A spin-off series, the Walking Dead: World Beyond, will also air in the US.

During a recent Comic-Con panel for The Walking Dead, it was revealed that the Season 10 finale, “A Certain Doom,” would finally broadcast on AMC on Sunday, October 4, reported GameSpot. Showrunner Angela Kang also revealed that AMC has ordered six more Season 10 episodes which will premiere in early 2021.

The premiere of season 11 has been delayed until 2021.

Fear the Walking Dead will return to AMC on October 11 with new episodes.
