The Walking Dead favourite Andrew Lincoln could be joining the second season of Invincible, if creator Robert Kirkman’s plans come to fruition.
Now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, the adult-oriented superhero animation has been renewed for two more seasons and already boasts TWD talent in Sonequa Martin-Green, Lauren Cohan, Steven Yeun, Ross Marquand and Michael Cudlitz (plus more).
In conversation with ComicBook, Kirkman – who also wrote TWD – was asked about bringing more zombie apocalypse survivors to his super-powered world.
“I hesitate to name names, just because I would eventually like to bring everyone. I can’t think of an actor on The Walking Dead I wouldn’t want to work with again,” he revealed.
“It’s an amazing group of actors; Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Jeffrey Dean Morgan… there’s not really anyone I wouldn’t want to bring in.”
Season 1 of Invincible wasn’t just a TWD reunion though, as it was crammed with other top-tier names like JK Simmons, Jon Hamm, Clancy Brown, Seth Rogen, Mahershala Ali and Sandra Oh.
