Although the Droughtlander continues, Starz is offering fans a reason to rejoice with a special virtual event celebrating both Outlander and its highly anticipated prequel, Outlander: Blood of My Blood. Titled Outlander & Blood of My Blood: The Gathering, the livestream will take place on Sunday, June 1, on Starz’s official YouTube channel.
Kicking off at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT, the event brings together the stars of the beloved franchise, which is based on Diana Gabaldon’s internationally bestselling book series. Fans can look forward to appearances from the casts of both the flagship show and the upcoming prequel, offering a rare glimpse into the evolving world of Outlander.
Ahead of the livestream, Starz released an exciting teaser featuring Outlander leads Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan as they meet the actors portraying their characters’ parents in Blood of My Blood. While Claire and Jamie’s romance has been the emotional core of the original series, the prequel will explore the love stories that shaped their family legacies.
Set against two historical backdrops, Blood of My Blood will follow Julia Moriston (played by Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) in World War I-era England, alongside Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) in 18th-century Scotland.
