UTA Signs ‘Outlander: Blood of My Blood’ Star Jamie Roy

UTA has signed Scottish actor Jamie Roy for representation, adding another rising talent to its roster.

Roy is best known for his breakout role as Brian Fraser in Outlander: Blood of My Blood, the prequel series to Starz’s hit historical fantasy Outlander. The new drama, which airs Fridays, explores the romance between Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Roy), the parents of Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). It also follows Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine), the parents of Claire Fraser (Caitríona Balfe). The freshman season will wrap on October 10.

Before stepping into the Outlander universe, Roy appeared in Phil Blattenberger’s 2023 WWII thriller Condor’s Nest as Sergeant Lewis. The story follows an American combat aviator who, a decade after the fall of Nazi Germany, travels through South America in pursuit of a war criminal—only to encounter far more than he expected.

His other screen credits include the TV movie Your Boyfriend Is Mine, the crime-drama Squeaky Clean Mysteries: Hazardous Duty, as well as Flowers and Honey, Burning Little Lies, and Picture Perfect Lies.

A native of Scotland, Roy began acting at a young age and has built a résumé spanning drama, thrillers, and mystery.

He continues to be represented by Cutler Talent in the UK, along with Cohesive Entertainment Group, Viewpoint, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
