A Dying Russian Spy Wants Revenge in ‘Dead Drop’
The case takes a dramatic turn when a Russian spy is poisoned by his own comrades. With his time running out, he offers to share intelligence that could help the team neutralize a threat to U.S. assets in Russia.
However, the information comes at a price. The spy wants the team to help him get revenge on the people who betrayed him.
That demand creates a difficult dilemma for the task force. The team needs the intelligence he possesses, but his final wish could complicate their mission. As the agents weigh the value of his information against his personal agenda, the episode places a high-stakes intelligence operation at the center of the story.
“Dead Drop” follows the Season 2 premiere, “The Deep,” which featured a case involving a cartel fixer.
Ken Woodruff wrote the episode, while Ludo Littee directed it.
