Supernatural’s 15th and final season is nearing its mid-season finale, but not before there’s a major return.
The show has confirmed that season 15, episode 8 – titled ‘Our Father, Who Aren’t in Heaven’ – will feature the long-awaited return of Sam and Dean Winchester’s half-brother Adam (played by Jake Abel), who hasn’t been seen in nine years.

The show has confirmed that season 15, episode 8 – titled ‘Our Father, Who Aren’t in Heaven’ – will feature the long-awaited return of Sam and Dean Winchester’s half-brother Adam (played by Jake Abel), who hasn’t been seen in nine years.
Abel also discussed what it was like to return to the Supernatural set after all those years, describing it as “two weeks of play and having fun with old friends”.
“They’re just as rowdy, and what’s really special is that this is a show that’s pretty much had the exact same crew for 15 years,” he said.
“It felt like I was coming back to a place I had already been and already had friends and bonds established. It was two weeks of play and having fun with old friends.”
Supernatural’s mid-season finale airs on Thursday (December 12) at 8/7c on The CW in the US. In the UK, the show airs on E4.
