an Somerhalder, the V Wars star, is an amazing husband, dad, actor, and environmentalist. He is all about light and appreciation. The former Vampire Diaries hunk loves the planet so much that he even has his own foundation to help the planet. Since, the Coronavirus outbreak, things are changing very fast. It is spreading so fast. And while the virus spreads by the second, the pressure falls on the scientists to find appropriate cures. So, even with the situations, we are facing now, Ian Somerhalder posts an appreciation for the scientists who are working so hard right now.
Ian Somerhalder can relate to Scientists
In V Wars, Ian Somerhalder plays a scientist. Dr. Luther Swann, his character, is in a pursuit to find a cure to a disease that is threatening the entire world. It is a virus that induces vampire abilities into its subjects. The virus infects his best friend, Michael Fayne (Adrian Holmes). As Ian’s character looks for the cure, he has to battle the virus himself and protect his family. So, Ian Somerhalder’s character is not willing to give up on his best friend as he struggles to save humanity and him.
The dramatics aside, it is pretty close to what is happening today. Our scientists are looking to find cures as the entire world is getting infected. They have to put their lives on the line in order to save the world. In V Wars, the two buddies, Luther Swann and Michael Fayne even have to stay quarantined for a couple of days.
So, Ian Somerhalder is very proud that he actually played that role.
I’ve NEVER been more proud to play an epidemiologist on #VWars as I am right now. These scientists spend their lives and careers trying to keep us safe so that we may live full, healthy and happy lives. I salute you all and thank you for your tireless efforts to help us and our families. Scientists ROCK. Let’s please listen to them.
They do deserve our gratitude! So, are you grateful to our scientists like Ian Somerhalder?
P.S Stay safe and hydrated! May we all be rid of the Coronavirus soon.
