Mobius M. Mobius, the Time Variance Authority (TVA) agent Owen Wilson played in season one of Loki, was pretty obsessed with jet skis.
Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie were the heart of the first season, but Mobius’ curious love affair with jet skis, which he had never even ridden, struck a chord with fans of the Disney+ series.
Fans of Mobius and his jet-ski passion are about to get even more excited for season 2 of Loki, with a video from the set teasing that the TVA agent may be getting his wish granted after all.
In a video posted by Instagram user @echooooooohan, Hiddleston can be seen acting out a scene in a suit and tie. It’s unclear what exactly is going on in this scene but to the left of Hiddleston and the crew filming him is a sign. This sign is an advertisement for Piranha Jet Skis, a brand and product that do actually exist.
Given the meticulous and Easter egg-filled nature of the first season of Loki (and the MCU in general), this sign is absolutely not here by coincidence. This could mean that perhaps Loki is visiting a variant of Mobius who is involved with Piranha Jet Skis in some way. Maybe we’ll even get to see him ride one. Then again, it could just be a neat little throwaway Easter egg that means ultimately nothing.
We’ll have to wait and see what lies in store for Mobius, Loki, jet skis and company in the upcoming second season of the hit MCU series, which is still filming. The series has no set release date as yet but is currently scheduled to air midway through 2023. The show will consist of six episodes and will be part of phase five of the MCU.
Loki season 1 is streaming on Disney+. Season 2 has been officially confirmed.
