Lucifer has teased that 2 known characters will be returning for the upcoming season 6.
During the show’s Comic-Con@Home panel yesterday (July 25), which featured star Tom Ellis and executive producers Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich, a brand new teaser trailer for the Netflix series premiered.
In the clip, the show teased that Lucifer has come full circle, as the teaser trailer shows Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) being pulled over by none other than Officer Diggs (Matt Corboy) – the same officer who pulled him over for speeding through Los Angeles in the first scene of the very first episode.
That was quite a nostalgic moment in the trailer, but Officer Diggs isn’t the only familiar face that will be returning for the final season.
“We actually have another familiar face that showed up at one point from a favourite episode,” co-showrunner Ildy Modrovich teased on the panel. “A favourite guest star.”
Modrovich hasn’t shared any names yet though, so get guessing!
The panel also confirmed that the show’s final season will arrive on Netflix on September 10, which gives fans plenty of time to binge the first five seasons to prepare for the big finale.
Lucifer seasons 4 and 5 are available to watch now on Netflix.
