Netflix has shared some first-look images of Wednesday’s Emma Myers and Jennifer Garner’s upcoming comedy Family Switch.
An expanded take on body-swap comedy Freaky Friday, the film, directed by McG, sees the Walker family realising they’ve swapped bodies with one another on the most important days of their respective lives.
Based on the book Bedtime for Mommy by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, the movie also stars The Office’s Ed Helms, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem’s Brady Noon, and acting legend Rita Moreno.
The family quartet can be seen in one of the snaps released by the streamer looking absolutely terrified whilst examining their faces in the mirror.
Netflix also revealed Family Switch’s release date, and it’s expected to become available to stream from November 30.
Garner is no stranger to freaky body-swap storylines following her turn in the iconic comedy 13 Going on 30. The actress recently starred in another Netflix family comedy, Yes Day, in which she played the mother of a character portrayed by Jenna Ortega.
Ortega and Myers are set to return in the already confirmed second instalment of Wednesday. Following the success of season one, which premiered last year, Ortega will reprise the role of Wednesday Addams alongside Myers as cheery lycanthrope Enid, who has quickly become a fan favourite.
Myers will next be seen in the BBC’s A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, which was filming earlier this month.
An adaptation of the mystery thriller book series by Holly Jackson, the series follows protagonist Pip Fitz-Amobi (Myers), who investigates the murder of a schoolgirl called Andie Bell.
After the death of Andie five years prior, police and the town folk believed that her boyfriend Sal Singh was the murderer, but Pip has a lead that could change it all.
