The upcoming season will mark the series finale, but loyal viewers don’t need to worry too much. A spinoff, Outlander: Blood of My Blood, is already in the works and set for release as well.
Season 8 will closely follow the storylines from Diana Gabaldon’s books Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone and A Blessing for a Warrior. The final chapters will focus on Jamie and Claire as they face the turbulent times of the American Revolutionary War, while also exploring the powerful arc of their daughter Faith’s survival.

The last season of Outlander is expected to premiere in early 2026 and will consist of 10 weekly episodes. Fans in several countries, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland, India, Japan, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, Belgium, France, Romania, Slovakia, and South Korea, will be able to stream the finale without delay.
However, not every region will have immediate access. Due to broadcasting rights, places such as the Netherlands, Argentina, Brazil, South Africa, Mexico, and Sweden may not see season 8 until late 2026 or even 2027.

In the U.S., the final season will air on Starz starting in early 2026, though an exact premiere date has yet to be confirmed. Netflix U.S. subscribers will have the longest wait — season 8 is not expected to arrive on the platform until 2028.
