Scots star Graham McTavish has regained access to his Twitter account after it was hacked by ruthless scammers.
On Saturday the star returned to Twitter, sharing a video of himself he wrote: “I have done it! I’m back on @Twitter That appalling imposter, who apparently had an overwhelming urge to sell laptop computers, has gone. Glad to be back on the twittersphere. Thanks for the support in my absence! It means a lot”
It comes as the star was locked out of his account on December 30 2022. Scammers attempted to swindle money from the Outlander star’s 276,000 Twitter followers.
They wrote: “Hello twitter family ! I have 10 MacBooks that I will personally sign myself , that you can purchase for $600 and free Shipping ! First come first serve basis , and all proceeds will be going to charity ! MY DMS ARE OPENED IF INTERESTED”
Fans were quick to welcome McTavish, 62, back to social media. One wrote: “Guess who’s back… Graham’s back…yes he’s back… Graham’s back… Graham’s back, Graham’s back, Graham’s back, Graham’s back…”
Another added: “Cool! It’s been too long and quiet without you Graham! Welcome back”
With a third writing: “Welcome Back Chief!”
One joked: “Thanks also for the deal you did me on that MacBook Air big man!!!”
With another writing: “Welcome back, sir! We’re excited to more shenanigans with you and Sam!”
McTavish has now made his account private.
