Outlander star Graham McTavish shares unseen photo of himself in his younger days [Photo]

Graham McTavish has stunned fans by sharing a previously unseen throwback photograph from his youth. The Outlander star retweeted the snap of himself from his younger days and fans couldn’t believe it was him.

In the original post, fan Jane Sour shared the photo and wrote: “Woah!! Took me a second. What year was this @grahammctavish?” Graham also shared a cheeky dig at his Men In Kilts co-star Sam Heughan alongside the pic.

He said: “This was taken the day before I met @SamHeughan The years since have obviously taken their toll.”

And fans were cracking up at him. One wrote: “Ageing like a fine wine, Graham!!”

Another guessed that it was a long time ago, they said: “Let’s just say we all were still a twinkle in our parents wee eyes.”

While one wrote: “Had to do a double take on that one!”

Another added: “that’s brilliant ! Your hair is amazing ! Graham!”

While another said: “You have to take the “good” with the “grey”… Thank you for giving us all so many joyous moments.”

And one commented: “I’d say the years have done you well dear.”

Graham and Sam yesterday released their second book Clanlands: The Almanac just yesterday. The book, the Clanlands Almanac, much like their first book, follows their adventures around Scotland.

The two Scottish actors wrote their original book Clanlands as a companion to their hit show Men in Kilts, during the first lockdown after their were forced to take a break in filming.

It proved to be incredibly popular when it was released ahead of the first series of their adventure travel show.

Speaking about the new book, Graham said: “If Clanlands was a gentle road trip with our readers through Scotland, this Almanac is a top down, pedal to the metal, up-and-down odyssey through the many byways of a Scottish year.”

The Almanac will see Sam and Graham once again turn tour guides once again to bring readers more epic tales in this “seasonal meander through the wilds of Scotland”.

Looking at customs and traditions from First Footing to Samhain throughout the year, alongside Scottish legends and whisky lore the dynamic duo will share stories and tips for Scots and Non-Scots alike.
