Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) ominously announces these words in the new trailer for the second half of Outlander season 7. The trailer (and new key art that teases Jamie and Claire’s impending separation) debuted at New York Comic Con on Thursday.

The trailer (above) showcases glimpses of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie’s return to Scotland and Lallybroch, and the cause for Claire’s need to return to America rather swiftly — Lord John Grey (David Berry) is in need of her medical prowess to tend to his ailing nephew after the boy is injured in battle.

“Find your way back to me,” the key art reads, emphasizing that separation between the beloved central couple.

“History pulls them back,” Heughan previously said of Jamie and Claire’s (separate) returns to America. “We know that they can never avoid history and fate, and they’re about to get entwined in more of the great upheaval, the American Revolution. They don’t get to rest and have a peaceful time together for very long.”

The trailer also teases glimpses of the battlefields of the American revolution, a distraught Ian (John Bell), and a separated Roger (Richard Rankin) and Breanna (Sophie Skelton).

But most disturbingly, there’s a scene of Lord John in clear distress telling Claire, “Some bad news… it’s Jamie.” Claire insists this news can’t be true, answering, “I would feel it in my heart if his had stopped. Mine would stop to.” That doesn’t sound good!

Over another montage, Claire also says, “Home is where the heart is. But it’s also the place where it can be broken.” In short, it’s business as usual with the Frasers and those they hold dear facing intense drama and unbearable tragedy.

“The war has arrived and everybody is in danger, including Claire,” Balfe teased. “And yet, there’s also these new threads of family that have been discovered, which is very exciting and it opens up a whole mystery that then plays out in this season.”
