Supernatural star Jensen Ackles is hard at work on the set of his new Prime Video show Countdown.
The 46-year-old Supernatural alum was photographed on set of the drama series in Los Angeles on Wednesday (October 16).
He’s playing a police officer in the show. However, for this scene he was dressed up in a prison uniform. The actor wore a blue shirt with dark pants and rocked some scruff.
Jensen, who starred on the Prime Video series The Boys, joined the cast of the new series this summer.
He will play LAPD officer Mark Meachum in the 13-episode thriller, according to TVLine. Mark becomes part of an elite secret task force to try and find the source of a murder.
“But as the truth of a more sinister plot comes into focus the team must overcome their conflicting personal agendas to unite and save a city of millions,” according to the log line.
