Squid Game fans have more to be excited about than just the highly anticipated arrival of season two.
To celebrate the show’s return, Korean artist Quenzy has teamed up with Netflix to treat fans to a new poster collection, now available to purchase via Displate.
The latest Squid Game by Quenzy collection features three, bold metal poster designs that bring the vivid scenes of the dystopian K-drama to life through iconic imagery inspired by scenes from the show.
Even more excitingly, the prints feature hidden Easter eggs in homage to the show’s use of symbolism. Each piece of art can be purchased with either a classic matte, gloss or a 3D-enhanced Textra finish.
Quenzy’s style – a blend of Korean aesthetics with modern pop and subculture – would make a unique Christmas present for the Squid Game obsessives in your life.
Those who are keen to expand the collection beyond the three new pieces should check out the Squid Game store on Displate.
This features several poster collections inspired by the show, including its Olympics collection which turns the famed games into a pop work of art.
Squid Game season two is set to debut on Netflix next week and will thrust previous games winner Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) back into the deadly arena – this time with a different agenda.
“The main axis of the storyline is going to be the clash between Gi-hun with these motives [to stop the games] and In-ho (Lee Byung-hun), who wants to stop Gi-hun from stopping the game,” the show’s creator Hwang Dong-hyuk told Digital Spy.
“I think focusing on that main storyline is going to help you get a great viewing experience.”
Hwang also promised the return of the infamous motion-sensing doll Young-hee from Squid Game’s ‘Red-Light-Green-Light’ challenge – plus exciting, never-before-seen games.
Quenzy’s new collection will be followed up by another season 2 crop of prints which will launch on January 4, 2025.
