Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard has responded to Millie Bobby Brown stating that he wasn’t a very good kisser.
The Eleven actress took part in Vanity Fair’s lie detector test series late last year and was asked if she thought her on-screen kiss with her co-star Finn was “lousy”. She stated that it was, and the lie detector deduced that she was telling the truth. Ouch.
In a preview of tomorrow’s (January 19) episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Finn was asked about his thoughts on what Millie said.
“You know what, I was fine with it,” he explained. “I don’t know, it was one of those things where the first… my first on-screen kiss was with Millie, but I didn’t know how to approach that in any way.
“There was no just like, ‘You’re gonna do this thing, and at the end of the take, you’re gonna kiss her.’ And then so I just, almost headbutted her… the romantic way of putting it was that I headbutted her. But I was 12, so, you know, I probably would have done the same thing if I was not on screen in front of the entire world.”
Funnily enough, Finn’s co-star Sadie Sink has also recently speaking about her on-screen kiss on the show, which happened to be her first ever kiss.
“It was with Caleb McLaughlin, who plays Lucas. We were filming. You can see it on Netflix! We were both awkward, but it was also funny because all our friends were there and all these extras and lights and music,” she told W Magazine.
“It was nerve-wracking at the time, but I look back now and can laugh about it.”
Stranger Things seasons 1-4 are now streaming worldwide on Netflix.
