The Big Bang Theory is set to crossover with Doctor Who next month, as Jim Parsons joins David Tennant on season two of his podcast series, David Tennant Does A Podcast With….

Sheldon Cooper will meet the Tenth Doctor to talk about pretty much anything and everything in the second run of Tennant’s chart-topping podcast, which sees the actor sit and chat with some of the world’s most famous faces. And unsurprisingly, it’s a big hit.

As well as Jim David will also be speaking to the likes of Dame Judi Dench, The Handmaid’s Tale star Elisabeth Moss, Star Trek’s George Takei, and Succession’s Brian Cox.

US politician Stacey Abrams, Tim Minchin, The Good Fight’s Cush Jumbo, and Schitt’s Creek star Dan Levy are also on the schedule for season two.

Moving on from Jim and David’s Big Bang x Doctor Who team-up, it appears we’re far less likely to see Jim Parsons join the American Horror Story series – despite the actor’s previous collaboration with AHS creator Ryan Murphy.

Revealing why he’d never starred in the anthology, Jim admitted that he had never been asked.

“Whether it was because of Big Bang or not, and time schedules and stuff, it had never come up,” he said earlier this month.
