The Boys’ VFX supervisor Stephan Fleet has teased a horrifying new moment for season 4.
Fleet took to Twitter to tease fans about a new scene and to suggest some sort of shocking event will take place in the upcoming season.
“My eyes can’t unsee what I just saw right now,” wrote Fleet without any further clue to the events they were filming.
If season 3 is anything to go by, it’s probably something incredibly gruesome and gory, but fans will have to wait and see whether it can outdo THAT horrifying exploding penis scene.
Fleet previously worked on the VFX behind the exploding penis and recently tweeted a behind-the-scenes look at the giant phallus.
The scene in question features a Supe (superhero) called Termite inspired by Ant-Man who shrinks down to pleasure the inside of his partner’s penis but sneezes and reverts back to his original size, killing his partner in the rather gory process.
Earlier this year, Brett Geddes, the actor who plays Termite in that NSFW scene, also gave fans a look at the giant penis prop that was used on set.
The actor took to Instagram to share a photo of him and his stunt double Alex Armbruster posing next to the giant penis and covered in white powder, presumably from when Butcher (Karl Urban) picks Termite up in a bag of cocaine.
Also in The Boys news, creator Eric Kripke revealed a look at the front page of the script for the opening episode of the new series.
Kripke confirmed that the new season will kick off with an episode titled ‘Department of Dirty Tricks’, and filming is underway.
The Boys seasons 1-3 are streaming.
