Vampire Diaries star Joseph Morgan has teased his upcoming Titans role as villain Brother Blood by sharing a series of creepy snaps on Instagram.
It was confirmed last month that Morgan, who played vampire-werewolf hybrid Niklaus ‘Klaus’ Mikaelson in The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off The Originals, will be joining the DC series for its upcoming fourth season as Sebastian Blood.
Sebastian, or ‘Brother Blood’, is described as “a highly intelligent introvert who hides a hidden darker nature” and he was previously featured on the second season of Arrowverse show Arrow, played by Lucifer star Kevin Alejandro.
Morgan has now teased his debut as the character by sharing three dark and moody selfies on Instagram, which feature him holding up his hands to the camera and in front of his face and giving a stern stare, with a red hint to the images to reflect the character’s name.
The captions across the three photos read: “Know… his… name #brotherblood #dctitans” – to which Morgan’s followers reacted with excitement as they shared their anticipation for his Titans debut.
Morgan won’t be the only new face joining Titans for its next season, as Taboo’s Franka Potente is also joining the cast as May Bennett/Mother Mayhem, a predator in human form who always carries a threat of violence.

Doctors actress Lisa Ambalavanar, meanwhile, is set to play Jinx, a master of dark magic who enjoys manipulating others and causing chaos.
DC confirmed at October’s DC FanDome fan event that Titans would be getting a fourth season, with Doom Patrol also getting a fourth batch of episodes.
Titans season three saw the Titans team travel to Gotham City after discovering that their former teammate Jason Todd (Curran Walters) had been murdered. Faced with protecting the city in the absence of Bruce Wayne (Iain Glen), the gang ended up being targeted by a resurrected Jason – now a villain calling himself Red Hood.
Titans airs on HBO Max.
