With just a few weeks left until the season 10 mid-season return, The Walking Dead has revealed new details about upcoming episodes 9 and 10’s synopses.tv
In the mid-season finale, Daryl (Norman Reedus), Carol (Melissa McBride), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Jerry (Cooper Andrews), Magna (Nadia Hilker) and sisters Kelly (Angel Theory) and Connie (Lauren Ridloff) journeyed into a cave to locate the walker horde, but a trap had left the team surrounded by the undead.
The synopsis for the ninth episode titled ‘Squeeze’ reads (via ComicBook.com): “In the mid-season premiere, our group must figure out how to get out of a precarious situation.”
‘Squeeze’ comes from writer David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and is being directed by Michael E. Satrazemis, ComicBook.com reports.
Johnson-McGoldrick has been on board over the last five seasons, while Satrazemis made his first debut by directing season 4, episode 14 ‘The Grove’.
“Our group must defend Alexandria from a threatening, outside force,” reads the synopsis for episode 10 ‘Stalker’.
‘Stalker’ is written by Jim Barnes and directed by director Bronwen Hughes. Barnes previously wrote season 10, episode 3 ‘Ghosts’, while Hughes is making his first directorial debut on The Walking Dead.
Elsewhere, Danai Gurira’s Michonne has already been written out of the series, with the show previously teasing a dramatic image from the mid-season premiere, which might very well be part of Michonne’s exit storyline.
The Walking Dead returns on Monday, February 24 at 9pm on FOX in the UK. You can also catch up on the show via NOW TV. In the US, the show returns on Sunday, February 23 at 9/8c on AMC.
