You’s final season has shared a new look with a teaser and still ahead of its release in April.
The Netflix thriller’s last outing will see Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) return to New York City alongside Kate Galvin (Charlotte Ritchie) to “enjoy his happily ever after”. However, he is threatened by the ghosts of his past as well as his own dark impulses.
In a new teaser, we see Joe in a glass box, as he tells the audience: “Hello, you. Haven’t we met? I’m sure we must have crossed paths. Perhaps I can refresh your memory.”
“I’m Joe. Let’s get to know each other better before we bid each other one last farewell. Goodbye, you,” he creepily adds.
A new still has also been unveiled, showing Joe on the streets of New York ahead of the season’s April 24 premiere date.
Badgley is set to return alongside Ritchie and Tati Gabrielle as Marienne Bellamy, while new cast additions include Madeline Brewer as Bronte, Anna Camp as Raegan and Maddie Lockwood, Griffin Matthews as Teddy Lockwood, and Nava Mau as Marquez.
The episodes will also see some behind-the-scenes changes, with Sera Gamble stepping away as showrunner and succeeded by Michael Foley and Justin W Lo.
“Making the show alongside our writers, producers, directors, cast and crew has been an honour and ridiculously fun,” Gamble said last year. “I feel lucky to have worked with an artist as gifted and thoughtful as Penn Badgley.
“I’m proud of what we’ve all accomplished and feel privileged to pass the torch. I’m excited to watch and support the You team as they bring Joe Goldberg’s journey to its delightfully twisted conclusion.”
