There has already been an insane amount of unexpected guests stars added to the Arrow-verse “Crisis On Infinite Earths” crossover, and the crazy castings just keep on coming. The latest news on that front is that the television event has added a Supernatural star, and an alum of yet another DC series to join the fun. Strap in, because Osric Chau is hopping on to play Ryan Choi, and Birds of Prey‘s Ashley Scott is reprising her role as Huntress. Read on for the details!

Ryan Choi is the name of one of the men who eventually took up The Atom’s mantle for those who don’t understand the first personality. Choi was mentioned in The Flash Season when Choi created the Flash suit that Barry’s future daughter Nora introduced to him. The precise role of Choi in the crossover (via TV Insider) is not known, but it would not be surprising to see him appear as the fresh Atom.

Osric Chau Supernatural

While we don’t know the specifics of Osric Chau’s performance, we do know that Ray Palmer will be leaving Legends of Tomorrow. Additionally, Palmer’s actor Brandon Routh will be reprising his role as Superman in the crossover even though there’s already a couple Supermen already appearing. Routh’s Palmer could still play Atom, and maybe team up with Ryan Choi’s Atom who ultimately ends up taking Palmer’s place on Legends of Tomorrow.

Then we have the deep cut casting of Ashley Scott (per TVLine), who some may know from the incredibly short-lived DC Comics-based Birds of Prey series. There’s already a Huntress in the Arrow-verse played by Jessica De Gouw, so my guess is this casting is to further sell the idea that all these heroes from other shows exist in the various worlds involved in this conflict.

Ashley Scott Birds Of Prey

These castings just keep getting crazier and crazier! Granted, we had thought a Birds of Prey star would appear in “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” but that doesn’t make it any less of a shock that it actually happened. It’s almost reaching a point where it’s not too crazy to believe a DC actor from the recent films will make an appearance, which would really send this whole thing over the top.

Granted, not all attempts at fantasy casting have gone well for the Arrow-verse writers. The crew got a firm no from former Smallville actor Michael Rosenbaum, who then very publicly laid out that the offer that was given to him was very rushed and not for a lot of money. We haven’t heard what other actors have said no yet, but it will be interesting to see who else they reached out to that turned them down given the people that have been contacted so far.
