Outlander star Sam Heughan and House of the Dragon actor Graham McTavish can now be seen in the first look of the second series of their hit TV show, Men in Kilts.

Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham first premiered on Starz in 2021 and followed the two actors as they travelled across Scotland in an epic road trip exploring their own rich Scottish heritage.

A second season was commissioned. This time, the Scots journey across New Zealand and explore the country’s connection to Scotland. Now, Starz has released a short teaser of the new series featuring the two Scots singing “men in kilts” while they drive across country.

Starz confirmed that the series will stream on August 11 on the STARZ App. Meanwhile, McTavish himself took to social media to celebrate the teaser.

“Just when you thought it was safe to get back in a camper van with Sam Heughan it’s time to go down under with us. Men in Kilts S2 crashing in to your living room beginning August 11th,” McTavish wrote on Twitter.

On Instagram, he wrote: “Men in Kilts Men in Shorts Men in desperate need of whisky/help. Everything Down Under will be revealed from August 11th on @meninkiltsstarz Take a deep breath and start writing those get well soon cards to both of us ( or different reasons).”

Previously, McTavish spoke about how fun the first season was to make. He said: “It was really great fun to do. Took me out of my comfort zone on many occasions which was a good thing, and we had a lot of laughs.”

“One of the things that people don’t realise, I suppose even though it’s obvious, is that there is a whole crew with us when we did this and we all had fun together. “

He continued: “We had a great experience and they were a lovely, lovely group of people. So it was like a strange, dysfunctional family holiday.”

Men in Kilts will premiere on the Starz App on August 11.
