Ozark dropped the first part of season 4 last month, and Netflix has now confirmed when we’ll be getting the final ever run of episodes.
The streaming giant has revealed that season 4B will be premiering on April 29, and it’s also given us a brand new trailer to go with it.
The trailer sees Julia Garner delivering a monologue about how she’s a “cursed Langmore” and ponders about violence and death… including her own. We also get a few glimpses of her threatening Jason Bateman’s Marty Byrde with a shotgun.
If you want a recap on all the madness that went down in the first half of season 4, and how we feel it sets up for the final episodes, you can remind yourself right here.
Garner herself recently spoke about the final Ozark episodes, and while she didn’t reveal any plot specifics, she did give fans a warning.
“It’s always funny because, by the time it comes out, I forget like, how intense it was,” she said.
“You’re just going to have to wait. It gets more intense. It gets very intense. The ending of season [four], the first half, was just the beginning of the intensity, that ending.”
Showrunner Chris Mundy did tease a little bit more about the specifics, saying: “For the Byrdes, at a certain point the final seven to me are about, at what time is it healthy to stay in, and at what time is it healthy to get out, in terms of that partnership?
“And so, to me, I really think the back seven is pretty intensely about marriage and family. And Ruth is an extension of that family.”
As he mentioned, there will be seven episodes to go, dropping all in one day, so get ready for the binge.
Ozark season 4B drops on Netflix on April 29.
