Supergirl season 6 casts Roswell actor Jason Behr to play another Kryptonian.
According to Deadline, his character’s name is being kept under wraps for now, but he’ll play a significant role in helping Kara Danvers when she comes to face something way beyond her control.
But Behr isn’t the only new kid on the block, as Supernatural’s Claude Knowlton has also nabbed a recurring role as a ‘mild-mannered alien’ with a tragic past.
As for what’s coming up in the sixth and final season, here’s an official logline: “As Brainiac lays close to death after trying to stop Lex (Jon Cryer), Supergirl and team soar in to save him, engaging in an epic battle with Gamemnae (guest star Cara Buono).
“After beating Leviathan, Supergirl turns her attention to Lex who has used the Obsidian platform to brainwash half the world to love him and follow him at all costs, no matter what horrible things he does.”
Back in September, the superhero show’s cast reacted to the news that season 6 would be the end of Kara’s story.
“To say it has been an honor portraying this iconic character would be a massive understatement. Seeing the incredible impact the show has had on young girls around the world has always left me humbled and speechless,” leading actress Melissa Benoist wrote on Instagram.
Supergirl season 6 premieres next Tuesday (March 30) on The CW in the US. Sky One and NOW air the show in the UK.
