Supernatural viewers have less than 2 weeks left to wait to find out what will happen in supernatural’s final ever episode, after 15 years of saving people and hunting baddies.

Supernatural spoilers follow.

But for the moment the anticipation is still high as we wait to discover what will happen to brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester in the series finale, particularly after that shocking and heartbreaking moment in the drama’s most recent episode.

Supernatural’s co-showrunner Andrew Dabb has now given us one more hint about what to expect from Sam and Dean’s final adventure on The CW after answering a fan question for TVLine.

When asked whether the brothers will have a “common ending” or if they’ll end up separated, Dabb confirmed that the pair will end their journey together one way or another.

“Sam and Dean started this journey together, and they are ending this journey together,” he said. “Do they end it in the same place? Do they end it in the same way? Are they both on the same page when it ends?

“That remains to be seen in the last episode. But the show started about these two guys, and it ends about these two guys.”

In a bonus teaser, Castiel actor Misha Collins said that “some huge sacrifices are going to be made along the way” and we’ve certainly seen evidence of that in the most recent episode.

The Supernatural series finale will air on November 19 in the US, so the end is very much in sight.

Expectations are high as actor Jared Padalecki recently revealed that the final episode is his “favourite episode of all time”, while his co-star Jensen Ackles said that the more he’d “mulled over” the possibilities of how the show could end, the more he “kept coming back to what ended up happening”.

We’d better be prepared for an emotional final ride in the Impala, as the show’s lead stars have also confirmed that “there was crying” after the cameras stopped rolling, with Ackles saying that he felt a range of emotions on the final day of filming, including “happiness” and “satisfaction”.

We’ve not been given many details about the show’s series finale so far, beyond the fact that it’s “the final ride for saving people and hunting things”, so anything could happen.
