The Boys has begun filming its third season, and showrunner Eric Kripke has posted a new round of in-universe ads from Vought Industries.

The new ads feature “GalGear”, which includes a woman named Linda Lockett holding a shotgun. “I love protecting my family!” Lockett is quoted saying. Another quote from the ad reads, “Girls just want to have guns!” in a parody of the song “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper. Kripke also posted a picture of a hot pink sniper rifle — which falls in line with the color scheme of the advertising.

Kripke has been posting several pictures from the set of The Boys, including other in-universe advertisements. These pictures include a pair of posters for the Dawn of the Seven film, with its production serving as a recurring subplot in Season 2. Another picture featured a golden statue of the Seven’s leader Homelander.

Season 3 of The Boys began filming in late January in Vancouver after being delayed by the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Amazon Studios is also developing a spinoff that takes place on a Vought-sponsored college campus, which has been described as “Part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire and raunch of The Boys.”

Amazon Studios’ The Boys stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander and Aya Cash as Stormfront. The first two seasons are streaming now on Amazon Prime Video, with Season 3 yet to receive a premiere date.
