The Big Bang Theory ended last summer. It was a 12 season long sitcom with our favorite scientists. Jim Parsons brightened our days alongside Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar for so long.
When the show ended, fans were overcome by this weird feeling at the thought of not seeing Sheldon Cooper and his gang on their screens. However, around two years former to the end of the Big Bang Theory, Jim Parsons took it upon himself to bring to the world a Young Sheldon.
So, even as we said goodbye to Leonard, Penny, Howard, Raj, Bernie, and Amy, we will still have something. Young Sheldon is currently in its third season. What used to be Jim Parson’s character, is now being portrayed by his personally sought out kid, Iain Armitage. Here’s something most of you may not have known: CBS renewed the show for a season 4 at the same time they announced a season 3.
What to expect from Ian Armitage’s Young Sheldon Season 4
If you haven’t noticed; the season 3 opening includes Sheldon’s entire family. This means that the show ‘Young Sheldon’ is going to expand its parametres beyond just Sheldon. So, even though Sheldon (Iain Armitage) is still the focal point of the show, you can expect a little more development of Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Missy (Raegan Revord) as they grow up.
So, this means these three will definitely still be there for the fourth season. According to the current intel, the rest of the cast isn’t going anywhere either.
Iain Armitage’s portrayal of the Sheldon character is remarkable. The boy still makes his bed on time. Going into season 4 of the show, we sure want to hear the witty pre-teen’s opinions on where the show is going. He’s always fun with an interview.
IMDb rates the show 7.3/10. That’s pretty good. It may be because of its long-running sequel, but Young Sheldon has a good following. Also, the show is very adorable. We are just not ready to say good-bye to the show yet. Or maybe, we never will be.
